Residential Landscaping – (January, 2021)

Here is a great example of a recent design and install project for a Knoxville area residence.  The variety and location of plants, according to their specific adaptations and characteristics were paramount for this design scheme.  The overall layout enhanced the property significantly, both in beauty and value.

Zoo Knoxville – Herpetology Center – : Inside (April, 2021)

This was an extra special project we worked on at the Knoxville Zoo and their new herpetology exhibits.  We had the privilege of installing all the plant material, as well as a fully integrated irrigation system.  A challenging project, but one we enjoyed.

Zoo Knoxville – Herpetology Center – Outside (May, 2021)

Southland installed all plant material, sod, and irrigation to the turtle and aquatic animal exhibits outside of the Herpetology Center.  Regardless of the type of landscape project you may have, Southland can deliver a quality product and provide a high standard of landscaping service.  The Knoxville Zoo, is one such project.

UT Dining Hall – (June, 2021)

A new dining hall at The University of Tennessee was erected this past spring for its campus residents and we were fortunate to be awarded the landscaping scope of work.  A variety of native hardwoods, evergreen trees and shrubs, and groundcovers were installed, as well as, river rock, tall fescue sod, and pine straw mulch.  We also worked in coordination with the general contractor, landscape architect, and UT officials to implement a state of the art two-wire irrigation system to the property.

Pellissippi State Community College – Multi-Purpose Building: (July, 2021)

We installed all plant material, sod, river rock, and metal edging to their newly constructed Multi-Purpose Building and adjoining parking lot medians.

Harrison Springs HOA – Hillside Bed

One of our HOA clients desired some enhancements to a hillside next to their community pool.  Our designer created a conceptual rendering/plan and we followed with the install of plant material and landscape river boulders.  This is another example of what we at Southland can achieve, regardless of project type, scale, and design.

The Patch Pro Shop at The Preserve in Oak Ridge – (May, 2021)

Southland designed and performed the plant and irrigation install for the recently built, twelve-hole, par three golf course for The Preserve Community in Oak Ridge, called The Patch.  From concept to install, this project was a treat to perform.  The enhancements and beautification surrounding the pro will now be cherished by community residents and visitors alike.
